Pollard + Middlebrook Family.

This morning, I set out bright and early to capture some images for the Pollard and Middlebrook family! Jordan’s sister, Katrina and I have been friends for a long time, so it was awesome to finally get to photograph not only Jordan, Allison and Lily, but Allison’s family, too!

The session was kind of a last minute thing, and when Jordan asked if I could start at 9AM on the Saturday of a long weekend, I was a little apprehensive. KIDDING!

Holly, Sean & Charlotte.

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of capturing a super sweet family as a Mother’s Day gift. Holly had seen our images on Facebook, and booked me at least two months ago for this past weekend. The weather really took a turn for the worst! However, just as we began our session, the sun came out, and the buttery light made an appearance.

I had a great time with Holly, Sean and especially, little Charlotte. As Holly said, “we’ll have to make this a Mother’s Day tradition!”

Last weekend, Richard and I headed to Uxbridge to photograph Team JJ plus Little J. Jillian made her entrance into the world a little later than expected, and Jess & Justin were certainly happy to meet her when she finally arrived.

I still can’t get over all of Jillian’s hair! It’s funny, every time someone asks me to photograph their newborn, I warn them, “Babies don’t stay asleep for me. They always wake up, and just hang out!” As you can see, Jillian was no exception.

At the end of April, I had the pleasure of visiting The Simon’s to capture the newest addition to the family, Jennifer. She is beyond perfect. I thought Charlie was perfect when he was born, but what a gorgeous little girl Jennifer is! Simon’s, you make good looking babies!

Sorry this post is a little tardy. I’m not the best at maintaining this site at all. We have a handy dandy Wizard of All Things Technical for this, but I really want to learn how to post to our own site!

Andréa & Scott

Claudia and Andréa have been good friends for years, so Claudia was actually there the day she re-met Scott.

The magic happened on a busy street in Toronto when a girl who rarely drinks skips outside of a crowded bar and right into the path of her dream man. “Hey, I know you” was all she needed to say to start her fairy tale.

To say Dré and Scott are a perfect match would be the understatement of a lifetime. At the risk of sounding cliche… He “gets” her and she him. Their love is one filled with jokes, laughter and silliness (that sometimes only they understand) and it warms our hearts to witness.

We wanted to go back to where the magic happened… Right in front of the Bovine Night Club on Queen Street West and have a photo safari with no real definite plan. Too bad we couldn’t include our sing-a-long soundtrack in this blog entry, because this was by far one of the most fun and amusing e.sessions ever!

We love you both endlessly and can’t wait to watch you guys tie the knot at Berkeley Church this October!

Introducing….Sawyer!

On Sunday morning, I had the opportunity to photograph Sawyer. You all remember Samantha The teeny, tiny little mum to be with the huge tummy? Well, here’s who was growing inside that tummy!

Sawyer was awake for most of his session, so things were a little challenging. But, we got some great images for Mum and Dad.

Namita, Amar, Jora and Joesh

On Saturday, Claudia and I headed to Mississauga to capture some first “official” family portraits for Namita and Amar.

Now, Jora and Joesh are only three and a half months old. Um, hi? Namita looks smokin’! And, she went back to work four days after having these babies!

We had an awesome time with the family, and look very forward to capturing the twins as they continue to grow.

My littlest cousin Grace Elizabeth has got to be the cutest little girl I know. And, I’m not just saying that because she’s family. She has an amazing personality, contagious smile, and she just makes you feel so happy when you’re around her. I love being able to capture her from time to time.

She never disappoints.

Kendra & Brad

Claudia and I headed to Beaverton this afternoon for Kendra and Brad’s e.session. It was a little on the chilly side because of the wind, but it’s still winter. It was on the verge of us not being able to shoot because of the cold, but Kendra and Brad have two little ones, and they were occupied this afternoon, so we headed out to give Mum and Dad a little break.

Kendra booked us before she and Brad were even engaged. She knew they would be getting engaged in the near future, and knew she wanted us to shoot their wedding. We get pretty pumped when this happens.

Richard came out with us today as a guest shooter. He’s a Paramedic in real life, but photography has become a very big hobby for him, so he wanted to see how The Dream Team works. We even chose a few of his shots to accompany ours today. He did a great job!

Can’t wait to open the season with you, Kendra and Brad. Hope you enjoy the sneak peeks!

Addison

We’re so excited to announce that we are now shooting in studio! We’ll be accepting commissions for newborns, wee ones, and headshots. Send us an email for more info!

Addison was my first in studio session. Couldn’t have gotten any luckier. Addy knows how to pose herself, and she’s not even 4! But, then again, we go way back. Way back to the day she was born, and she’s been in front of my camera quite a bit since then.
