We met Dini and Jeff in a tea cup chair. Pretty much the first thing out of Nadine’s mouth was, “I’m a Bridezilla, and if you can’t handle that, we might as well end this meeting now.” Claudia and I weren’t sure what to say, so we laughed. I think that’s the moment we all became friends. It couldn’t have been further from the truth. Nadine is one of the most thoughtful, caring, loving people we know. This wedding has been a long time in the making. We shot their engagement session over a year and a half ago, and it felt like yesterday when we captured their wedding this past Saturday. All of our weddings are emotional for Claudia and I. But, this one was a little different. We’ve gotten to know Dini and Jeff pretty well over the past two and a half years. There were a lot of moments when Claudia and I teared up and had to remember to breathe. A special thanks to Laura Atendido from Laura Kelly Wedding Design. It’s a breath of fresh air when we get to work with Laura and/or Kelly. These girls are to wedding planning, as peanut butter is to jelly.
